Black spinel, an opaque jet black crystal with a hardness of 8 is extremely durable. I acquired these sometime back and they are originated from Africa. Near to perfect facets that captures light from almost any angle. I've enhanced it's beauty with a cluster of clear Quartz rondelles and a pair of cubic zircon earwire. Sterling silver finishes.
